Soziale Not und seelische Gesundheit - Zur Anthropologie von Gesundheit und Krankheit in der Psychiatrie

Armut und Einsamkeit bestimmen mit, wie häufig und schwer Menschen psychisch erkranken, ob und wie sie genesen. Urbanes Leben kann seelisch belasten. Muss Stadtplanung von psychiatrie-erfahrenen Menschen lernen? Brauchen wir ein Ministerium für Einsamkeit wie in England? Kann materielle Grundsicherung wirksame psychische Prävention bedeuten? Kann Peer-Support auch Menschen mit sozialen Problemen helfen? Brauchen wir ein recovery- bzw. empowerment-College?

Ziel der Vorlesungsreihe Anthropologische Psychiatrie ist seit ihrem Start im Jahr 2000, ein menschliches Bild von psychischen Erkrankungen zu vermitteln, sie nicht auf die Abweichung von Normen oder die Folge entgleister Transmitter zu reduzieren. Aus dieser Perspektive bekommen die notwendigen Hilfen auch eine politische Dimension: Hilfreiche Psychiatrie braucht eine gute Sozial-, Wohnungsbau- und Kommunalpolitik. Mit Vorteilen für alle: Was psychisch sensiblen Menschen gut tut, bedeutet Psychohygiene für alle. Prävention erfordert Politik.

Diese Veranstaltungsreihe ist eine Kooperation der Universität Hamburg mit dem Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf, Irre menschlich Hamburg e.V. und psychenet.
