Dr. Trần Đức Anh Sơn is currently the Managing Director of the Publishing Company Tao Đàn Thư Quán Books, Đà Nẵng. He served as Vice-Director of Danang Institute for Socio Economic Development for ten years (2009 - 2019). Previously he served as Vice-Director of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Huế, for six years (1995 - 2000), then as Director of that Museum for seven years (2001 - 2007). He also served as Dean of the Department of Vietnamese Studies at Phan Chau Trinh University, Hội An (2008). He was awarded several scholarships to study museology, archaeology, history of arts, management of cultural heritage, and political sciences in Japan (1997 - 1998), Korea (1999), Germany (2004), France (2004) and the United States (2015 - 2016). Dr. Trần Đức Anh Sơn is the author of several research books, including Hue’s Flavors (1992), The Ancient City of Hue, A City of Poetry (1992), Blue and White porcelain of Hue.
