Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Đăng Điệp is Director of the Institute of Literature, Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences and Humanties (VASS). He is the author of several books (in Vietnamese) on Vietnamese literature, among them: Voices in Lyrical Poetry (2002); Echoes from Words (2003); Modern Vietnamese Poetry: Process and Phenomenon (2014). He has received many academic awards, including the Award of the Alliance of Vietnamese Arts and Literature Associations (2002), the Award of the Association of Hanoi Writers (2003), and the Award of Vietnamese Writers (2014).
